7.30-10.30pm

7.30-9.30pm classes

9.30pm social dancing!

MUSIC

We will be playing Swing, jazz, blues, old R n B, soul, with a strong focus on the first two.  The general style of the music mostly reflects that of the 20's, 30's and 40's.  (Period dress is noticed and appreciated, but not necessary)

Your Teachers

Between them Jay and Tessa have danced all over the world, appeared on TV, MTV, films, and taught dance of different styles in different countries.  They love dancing.  Come and join the fun!

Advice for beginners

Classes will be suitable for both complete beginners and for more experienced dancers. 

No partner necessary, all welcome! 

Ladies, try and encourage your male friends to come along too though, to ensure a balance of leads and follows. 

Wear comfortable clothing that allows your to move.  

Flat shoes with slightly slide soles are advised.
